I wish there was a cross reference sheet or thread to determine the old names to the new.. Sometimes I get so confused... I think I just realized that Donald is D-Dogg... I was moving and came back after about three months, that was late January and noticed new names with huge numbers of posts... Kind of like being in the twilight zone... I was always thinking, "man that guy writes just like 'so and so"  |

I'd love a name change to something that isn't my real name. When I Google my full name, an ASFN post from years back comes up where someone I taught with who also posts here asked if I was me. Now I can't really go nuts on the message board in fear that if will be linked back to work, and my future in politics will be ruined. Kidding, kind of...
Seriously though...I've been here long enough- played by the rules, never been banned. Can I get a name change? Anything...even JabariIssaFanClub, or DuaneStarksFanClub would be better!

Well, getting a name change won't change the fact that if you google your full name, that post will show up, and your "quoted" name will still show your old name. In addition to changing your name, you should PM a mod & ask them to edit that post.

Thats correct - I had to have Mike delete a few things, and he might have had to delete them from the archived pages as well. Then it will take a few weeks for the stuff to be removed from Google's cached version of the page.

People like BendCardFan shouldn't be allowed to just quietly get their name changed. We should have a thread strictly for the purpose of announcing who you are now, should a change be made.
At least he has an easily recognizable avatar.
