Just sharing my poker story...we had an 8 player tourney last night, $25 buy in for $25 in chips...with blinds and the whole deal.
Winner takes all but $25, as the second place person would get his $25 back.
I couldn't believe I won, pretty amazing. Won only one hand for about 2 hours, went from $17 left to $45 in that one hand, then back to $17 later...won a few, went back up...etc.
Took two guys out on All-in's...and on both of them I needed a card to come up for me, and it did...once to make a straight, once to make a flush. Pretty lucky crap for me.
Anyways, the guy in the final two wasn't really very good, and I could tell when he had bad cards, and I just slowly ate away his money.
We need to get that poker night together now
Mike

He's young... he'll learn in time.
I have come close to winning two tournaments, $35 buy in for 100 in chips.
Last time I finished 3rd in a 14 player tourney. I went all in 5 times and came away a winner 4 of them.

To be honest...if I want to spend quality time with my wife, I am going to put down money I am never going to see again. Besides, who do you think makes the appetizers and brings me a fresh beer? DUH!!!
