Ugh, I feel for you man.
I have one big mesquite tree, about 2 years since I planted it...should have trimmed it back, but haven't been able to...it got pretty hairy tonight, even with 3 poles supporting it.
It's actually leaning toward the house more now than before the storm, lol.

Total Rainfall at Chandler Mike's in 2008: 7.55 inches (as of 11/27/08)
We are surrounded by sissies (I apologize in advance to any sissies I might offend).
It really started pouring rain here in Mesa just after 8. The wife and I had just done a ton of yardwork and went to Chandler Fashion Center for a couple of Auntie Anne's pretzels and a couple of sodas.
Still pouring rain...we parked somewhere out by the middle of the parking lot and walked in the rain to the mall entrance. I had my arms outstretched and was taking in all the rain I could. I looked like I had stepped from a swimming pool by the time I entered the mall, but I felt cool and refreshed. Gotta love the rain.
Meanwhile, sissies were running for cover, or for their cars, or were already in cover and on their cellphones calling people they knew too whine about the rain impeding their trek to their vehicle.
SISSIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ENJOY the rain!!!!!!
