My name is Bob, and the Philly phaithful that I tailgate with at the Vet during the Cardinals' annual visits dubbed me "Cardinal Bob".

How about all of the new guys/gals? How did you choose your handles?

Well, there actually IS a story behind ActingWild besides a commentary on my Weekend nights.

Acting= What I majored in and love doing.
Wild= I got that acting degree from the University of Arizona. Go WILDcats!

Finally, (and yes, I spend waaaay too much time on these types of things.) ActingWild has the same initials as my real name.

Adam W.

After lurking on the various boards for a couple of years, I was reading a post of which the convoluted logic made me laugh out loud. Then I thought...

In order to survive and maintain sanity as a Cardinal's fan it is sometimes necessary to view things and process information differently than the average person, I call it CardLogic!!

My handle? I'll Turn this into a multiple choice question for you guys.

Is it derived from:

A) My diehard devotion to the Cards.

B) My devotion to the Gamecocks.

C) My college days as a Trotskyist.

D) All of the above.

Have fun.

By the way, Jon. Is that an Ibanez Rg that I see you (I assume you) playing?

Cardinals because I am an Arizona (nee Phoenix) Cardinals fan

Ken Because my name is Tom, err, I mean Ken!

I came up with it a few years ago when I needed to drop my life-long nickname "Kruel Kaiser Ken"...I got tired of people busting my chops because they thought I was a skinhead ...now I just take **** for being an unrepentant Cardinals fan!

"cardinalsken" is my nic everywhere I go as well as my name for my hotmail account, AOL, Yahoo, hell, everything! If you ever come across a cardinalsken on the internet, it's me...there just aren't any other Kens who give a rat's ass about the Cards...lucky me!

Handles

I've had the same moniker at a Card's baseball forum for a few years....not a lot of baseball or football Card fans in Ohio.

On some forums I've experimented with dumb names like Brother Buck....Bugsy Malone....Hehateme.....one of my favorites was as an OLD baseball fan I like a pitcher named Sal "The Barber" Maglie so I became Sal Monella (cheap health joke).

Someone mentioned an old baseball player named Bake McBride....a buddy of mine went by Bake McBird for a while on a Cards baseball forum...now he's Walter E. Kurtz of Apocalypse Now fame.

One of my favorite monikers on an Ohio St. football site is a guy who took the names of the last 4 Ohio St. coaches...now he's:

Jimmyearlewoodcooper

My picture is of course my and Stout's favorite beverage.

Hey, he never really posts anymore.

He joins the list of good posters that dissappeared all of a sudden. I wonder if Nem is somehow involved ...

Like many others I visit this site often to keep up on the latest Cards news, but rarely post. This place is without a doubt the best source for team news.
As for my handle, I used to go by the handle Southforte on the old AOL board as I had season tix in section 40 south end zone. For many reasons I have decided that after 11 years I am not renewing this year but rather will take day trips occaisionally on the bus from Tucson and pick up a scalped ticket at the gate. Im hoping that the savings will pay for a dish and an NFL package. It remains to be seen if Ill be able to pick up Cards home games in Tucson. Are there any other Tucsonans on the board that have info RE: this?

On home games on the tube is a no,the Cardinal organization put the Tucson area in the blackout area,I have talked to both local Fox and CBS about this and it was the Cardinals call on it. Hopefully it might change when they move to Glendale but I would not hold my breath.
