I believe you must choose one team per sport and throw all of your support behind it.
If you ever root against "your team" then it's obviously not "your team."
There's nothing more ridiculous than being at a Cards' loss and hearing the alleged Cards' fan next to you say "Well, at least my Broncos beat the Raiders today..." Gimme a break.
When I walk out of Sun Devil Stadium, I know whether MY TEAM won or lost, I don't need to check the scores to see how my "other team" did. It's Cards 100%.
Go Cards!!!
The only problem is, I am what pretty much passes for alot of Cards fans here in AZ (but obviously not all Cards fans). Most are transplants and we have built in lifelong loyalties. If I spent 25 years rooting for the Bears and simply gave up my loyalty because I moved to AZ, what kind of Cards fan would that make me?
I hate it when people make comments about bandwagon fans (not that you did)since you need those to build a fan base. Hopefully the bandwagon fans become more passionate about the Cards. I don't consider myself bandwagon in any way since I am here through good times and bad.
I am under the assumption that my loyalty towards the Bears will not cause any problems and if it does I would be more than happy to leave. With the exception of 1 team, I am in the Cards corner all the time. And I am not presuming you meant anything malicious by your post Brian. Just declaring your thoughts.

Hmm. The site is currently set up to allow only realtime streaming. We don't allow downloads because then who is going to go out and buy a CD, right???
Are you getting an error? Have you successfully streamed any of the other songs?
it was the name of my business for 15 years.. titan a/c & heating. when i went to register a name, i was in the parking lot and could not come up one. Dale, my first employee suggested "titan". i liked it and asked him where he came up with it. he said, on the side of the tool box it says titan in big letters. Also my logo was a altered picture of CONAN. i thought it was cool.
Well, I have been a huge movie buff for years and my namesake is my favorite of all time.
My "photo" is probably the better story here. I live and work in Hampton, Virginia- the last resting place for the head of Captain Edward Teach (you may know him by his moniker, Blackbeard, the Pirate).
It seems that Governor Spotswood of Virginia took issue with the business arrangement that Governor Eden of NC had with honest hard working merchant sailors like Capt. Teach. It was long debated about the legality of Capt. Teach's tactics and Governor Eden received a tribute from each of Capt. Teach's conquests as payment for the Colony of NC to look the other way.
Governor Spotswood dispatched Lieutenant (pronounced "luftentant" at the time) Maynard of the Royal Navy, who was stationed out of the Customs House here in Hampton. Lt. Maynard's sloop found Capt. Teach's ship sitting of the coast off NC near Okacroke. A bloody battle ensued in which the Limeys were able to subdue the crew of the pirate ship after lying in wait in the hold of their ship. As the pirates and Capt Teach boarded they were ambushed by the Navy crew and Capt Teach was said to have suffered 25 life threatening wounds. Once he finally fell to the deck of Maynard's sloop, he was decapitated and his head was hung from the bowsprit of the ship.
Lt Maynard then sailed up the Hampton River to greet Gov. Spotswood with the proof of his victory and the loot that was recovered from the pirate ship. Teach's head was then placed on a pike at the mouth of the Hampton River as a warning to other would-be pirates. Approximately a dozen pirates were then tried for their crimes. As recent as 8 year ago a skeleton was found during the construction of the VA Air & Space Center on the Hampton waterfront. The hands of the decedent were tied behind his back and he was buried facedown. This would have been the typical burial for a convicted pirate.
Now legend has it that Capt Teach returns to Hampton the first weekend of June each year to reclaim his lost head and re-fight his final battle. The local around here have celebrated this occurence by creating the Hampton Blackbeard Festival (of which I am the director). You can find out more at: www.blackbeardfestival.com
Now I ask you: Have you flogged yer crew today?

can I add that I am also a sooner fan? so it works out that I can use my name on the rivals board too...
as far as the whole "rooting for two teams thing":
with all due respect to those who do so, I think that it is pretty weak. I mean, its fine if you for those who admit only one true allegiance. That is acceptable. But people who say they like two teams equally... When I hear that, I just think to myself, "give me a break"
I live a die with the Cardinals and Sooners. End of story. To me, if that is not your attitude, then you are not a true fan of that sport.
Put it like this:
If I lived in Chicago, I would go to a bears cardinals game but that would be it. My sundays would be spent either listening to the cards on the radio, or watching them on satellite. The bears would not exist while the cardinals were playing. (unless they were playing the cardinals)

I am an Arizona Fan and I Root, Root, Root for all of the Az home teams. I have been a SportsFan since 1951 and moved to Arizona in 1954. I first attempted to use Azfan on AOL and they stuck the number 1 after my request resulting in: Azfan1

C'mon now. If you lived in Chicago, you could get season tickets to the Bears, if only to see pro football. I sit next to a guy at Sun Devil Stadium who wears his Broncos jersey to every game regardless of who's playing. That's his team and he's showing his loyalty. Every game the wife and I can pick out different teams jerseys amongst the fans. Many don't really care who wins the actual game they're attending...they just want to be a part of the NFL experience.
I live in Mesa, but am from Los Angeles originally. I am a diehard Lakers fan. They're the first team I ever followed and I've stuck with them all of my life. If I go to a Suns' game, I wear my Lakers' gear, whether it's Suns vs. Lakers or Suns vs. Bucks, etc. They're my team and I'm gonna make it known.
The fans that annoy me are the ones that don't wear a single item of clothing identifying which team they're pulling for. They usually end up mouthing off and calling a ton of attention on themselves. Then they get ticked off when someone points out that they're not even enough of a fan to make it clearly known.

The Air Force keeps me pretty pretty mobile, and I have yet to meet a fellow Cards fan at any of my bases.
I end up feeling like I represent the Cards for the entire state, but no matter where I end up the Cardinals keep me tied to my home town. 8-)
I have posted (mostly lurked) on various Cards boards for years as MrYeahbut. For some reason, this site dumped that name and wouldn't let me post using it. I reregistered as MrY.....my wife gave me the name because I always am saying about the Cards....'yeah' they're losing...'but' they could come back.......hence...MrYeahbut...
I've been a Cards fan since the early '60's, and made a few trips from here in Albuquerque to St Louis to see them....usually go to 1 or 2 a year in Tempe....will be at 9'er game in Dec
Go Cardinals
ps.. am a fan of Avalanche in hockey and am coming to Phx next weekend to see them play the 'yotes
