I really dislike Bruce Cooper's voice. It grates on me.

I heard him on the radio yesterday. He is starting a new magazine called "Post", I believe, focused on Phoenix sports. He has left TV and radio to focus on that.

I didn't like Zenner, I liked Mark Curtis.

I hate Mark Curtis the news Anchor. I dislike Mike Chamberlin, I don't even know the name of anyone on Channel 15.

In short, we need a good sports guy in town

The only sports anchor I have hated more than Tom Zenner is Steve Overmeyer. Listening to either of them is about as bad as being tied down and forced to listen to Hanson for a week.

The strange thing is I don't think Tom Zenner was that bad as a news anchor. He is awful as a sports anchor (as Bill Kelly is as weatherman).

Yeah, as a sports anchor he got too 'cutesy' sometimes but I thought he was funny and fun. I'd turn off the volume if I could whenever Bruce Cooper is on (but then I wouldn't know what the heck is going on).

Steve Overmyer was my favorite, but maybe it's because we were friends out there and he posted on AZProSports on occasion

Zenner sucks, he was a child.

I actually wound up at a party at Shelton's house the night after a bad loss his rookie year. He seemed like a pretty cool guy to me and was surprised I knew who he was.

I was actually a bit miffed that he was so jovial after getting his butt handed to him on the football field. Maybe that's just me though. My point, though, is he didn't come off to me as a jerk, he was actually pretty cool.
