What was your first car?
The finance thread made me wonder & I didn't want to hi-jack. Feel free to reminisce about your car--favorite stories, etc.
If y'all already had this thread before I came on, I apologize in advance for the redundancy.
1961 VW with a rag top. Midnight blue. Had to sell it when Kwezzy (hee hee--that just sounds funny to me) was born. No A/C; the heat was simply a valve that opened in the floor to let in the heat/exhaust from the engine. Super good times--gettin' high on fumes in the winter....

an old (sometime in the 80's?) volvo station wagon for $1000. it had weird wiring problems, so every time i did anything on the front console area (turn signal, air conditioner etc.) the wiper on the back window would go back and forth once.

1997 Mitsubishi Mirage - Still own/drive the car
I love it, even though it has heavy sun damage on the roof. It's been a good, solid, dependable car and I'm gonna drive it into the ground.

1993 Dodge Dakota, it has served adaquately for a number of years but will probably need to be replaced soon, maybe when I get out of college in a year or two.

1982 Toyota pickup. After a year, the stereo in it was worth much more than the truck itself.

It was huge. In High School, I used to take it to lunch with me and 11 of my closest friends.

1978 gray primer camaro with no heat, no ac, no stereo. Drove it to Flagstaff one weekend and it snowed so my windshield was iced over. Drove until Camp Verde with only about an 8" circle of defrosted area on my windshield with my wipers on constantly. Good Times.

When I play rock, paper, scissors, I keep a glass of water in my hand and when my opponent throws down I throw the water in his face and say "Water". Beats all three, scissors can't cut-it, paper dissolves and the rock sinks. Plus it usually surprises the hell out of them.

1986 Pontiac Sunbird. Paid $700 for it. Got side-swiped only a month after I got it. The other guy didn't have insurance, I had crappy insurance. So I kept driving it. The passengers door had to be opened with a huge shove of your shoulder. But it was mine!
It looked like this one (only this one looks A LOT better than mine did!):
