Im choosing one today, Is there even a difference in Quality, Customer Service, etc...???
No NFL Sunday ticket on Dish network.
I have it because I rent a townhouse and the owner has Dish Network. It's ok but his dish and receiver are old so we have had reception issues, and I have no control over what package we get.
The main difference for me is not getting Sunday ticket.

That wouldnt really bother me at all cause, either Im at the game or its on Fox, and to be honest with you I really dont care that much about other games other than the Cardinals.

Yes BUT....
You can always bring your dish with your to tailgate. That's what we did when I was down in Phoenix.

I have Dish. I looked into Direct TV & they were SO much more expensive. Dish was cheaper than cable, too. I have had NO issues with service, reception, anything. Very happy customer here.

I have Dish and have no reception problems. My Father lives a mile away and has horrible problems with reception when it is cloudy. I don't know if it is related to his satellite configuration or not, but I could care less because mine works fine. Except I go to his house to watch all the Cards' games. Damn lucky it wasn't rainy on any Sunday this past season.
That's how I break it down to folks here. If you are a sports fan like me, there are sports packages for almost all the sports on DirectTV. If you just want regular tv channels, then go with Dish Network.

I still have a gut feeling Shaq will be better next season (2008/2009) after our docs have a full off season to work their magic on the Big Saguaro!
Both sets of my parents switched from Directv to Dish Network because it was a little bit cheaper. They both regret it now and wish they stayed with Directv.
After being at their homes and having Directv myself it confirmed that I will never ever make that switch.

I also have Direct TV, mainly for the NFL ticket; I have only had issues with reception on very rare occasions involving huge thunderheads, the bad reception only lasted a minute or so. Also, fwiw, Direct TV is supposed to be putting the HD Phoenix local channels in High Definition on the satellites this spring; if you can get those channels over the air with an antenna where you live thats no big deal. High Def rules!
