what i found

...on Google - the name of my favorite ex girl. She's a volunteer with a couple of organizations.
We were together a decade ago, both of us got into some bad stuff, she went to jail for a few months, moved out of state, would still call me, i was by then with someone else.
She got angry that i wouldn't go stay with her for a few days, hung up and disappeared.
For 7 years i wondered: did she get married and change her name, did she get back into bad things and DIE?
It's great to know she's doing well enough to be helping others.
I am happy right now.

romance

is all about what is lost - i don't know how it will go having found her - this is one of the things that age brings...
How's it going to go for a 3 day visit?
That'll rock - but then i will return to Phx, my home, my job.
She will go back to her job the Monday after.
Thanks for the wishes...

Good going Andi. I found my ex-wife also. She's a ward of the state she is living in, but is not considered dangerous. I understand Looney Tunes offered her a job as Daffy Duck's mentally impaired partner, but they couldn't keep her from wandering off and getting lost.

What part of Seattle? Be prepared for a high of 80. Congrats on finding her.

ok

Back @ work after the trip.
Seattle is a great city - cosmopolitan, progressive, dense, happening - we are NOT on par as a city w/ them.
The weather was awesome - 80 degrees, rained for maybe 1/2 hour in 4 days.
Beautiful parks, nice beach, Pike Place Market is cool. lotsa good Asian food to be had, rents are brutal.
I had a good time, good to see the old girl, we will stay in touch.
She is truly the "ex" - some spark is gone - hell - 10 years have gone by.
We still uh... you know - a couple times...
Life goes on...

What about your current girlfriend, you know - the one from the first halftime meet? Are you guys not that serious...or...do you have an "open" relationship? Did you tell her about your trip and was she cool about it, or was it a "business trip"...?

Did you make the Raiders' game? If so - where the heck were you at the half?

Uh-oh. I don't want to see another serious advice thread.

yes - local girl knows - The tone of her emails to me today suggests irritation.
We have an open thing going, but still feelings can be bruised - I hope my honesty doesn't end up wrecking things, but i can sleep better than if i was a liar.
I was out of town Fri-Tue - I gave my ticket to a buddy who supports the cards, but he isn't hip to the ASFN thing - No worries - I'll be there for the Patriots game and every game thereafter...
btw - in Seattle I saw about 20 pro Kerry signs for every pro Bush sign.
VERY lefty town - a bit much for me, even.
