What happened to Chuck Powell on The Edge?
I often stream the Morning Ritual online...the morning shows in the Bay Area are awful. I went online this morning and Adam Corolla was on instead of Chuck and Colin. What happened?

Fired a few weeks ago in order to brind Adam Corolla back to Phoenix. Hopefully one of the sports stations in Phoenix and lure his back to sports talk. I miss "Bare Naked Sports" with him and Vince Marotta back in 2001 and 2002.

yeah - his show was cancelled which sucks - i won't listen to corolla - on to KUPD and sports talk

I like Adam Corolla and did not mind his show before they forced Danny Bonaduce on it. However, I really liked Chuck and Colin and it was nice to have a high quality local show.
As far as morning radio goes, it seems like Phoenix has some of the better shows out there. The Morning Ritual was great and I also like Holmberg's Morning Sickness. The stuff I have heard out here in the Bay Area is atrocious. Not clever, not entertaining, not controversial....just mindless blabber. |

I liked Chuck Powell and the gang. The Adam Corolla show does nothing for me. No big deal though. I just find myself listening to Ron Wofley on the way to work now.

I agree. Everytime I listen to 620 in the morning I have to be reminder serval hundred times that 620 KTAR is the official station of the D-Back and Suns. Those guys are human commercials. Wolfey can be funny at times and if they team him up with Chuck Powell, I would listen more.

I like Adam Corolla but he has now replaced the 2 best morning shows I've ever heard. The one here and the morning show in Seattle.

Chuck Powell and Vincent Marotta look to be both back on the radio and podcasting check it out (Don't have enough posts to post a link but you can google Chuck Powell and Vince) Don't know what Chuck is doing on the Peak but their podcast is sports
