What Do I Take?


First Thanksgiving for me without my mom. My really good friends invited me over but I dont wanna show up empty handed. Anyone have suggestions?

And plus are grocery stores open tommorrow?

If they didn't tell you anything specific to bring, it's always good to pick up a basket of fall flowers. That shows you care and are thankful for them inviting you over without doubling up on food.

In past years, Fry's has been open limited hours. I heard that this year, Bashas' will also be open limited hours. If I were you, I'd call the store you shop at most often that's close to you and ask them if they're open tomorrow, and if so, when. If they aren't, check the next closest store!

I'm not an expert by any means, but any white wine would be fine I'd think. We always drink white zin at thanksgiving.

You can bring deserts. You can always go to Marie Calendar for pies.

LOL! Yeah, I have 5 free pies in my freezer. I was really surprised last year how good the Sara Lee pies actually are! I guess I've just become so used to getting stuff for free that I didn't even think about mentioning it!
