The judge is gonna throw the book at O.J.
Just a feeling that when/if this goes to trial there is no way a jury lets him off, and I think that the judge is going to give him close to the max. Will it be the same judge that set his bond? 7 Felonys and a 125,000 bond??? My friend had a 150,000 for 1 felony.
BTW Shane did you escort OJ thru the Vegas Airport today?
What really pisses me off is there were people giving away orange juice today at the courthouse chanting "Free OJ" Ok... just because you are a black person doesnt mean that you have to support every single black person out there no matter what crimes they committed. Same goes to the Vick supporters. There was a black rev who said that the NAACP supporting Vick was racist after they said they would support him "No matter what the evidence showed"

Actually I was there but didnt escort. I was assigned at Valet parking as he pulled in and was ordered to close it off with a patrol car until he got inside the airport. What a douche! The police shouldnt have escorted him anywhere IMHO!

I agree but still you have to try to instill order for the public. Without a police escort I could see things getting pretty ugly.

Why? I personally dont see the public doing anything to OJ. You may have the occasional moron screaming an obscenity. But much more then that I highly doubt. Police are not bodyguards and shouldnt be deployed as such.

Police presence stops alot of people from doing stupid things. You get some guy who hates OJ who throws a drink on him while he is walking thru the airport and all hell could break loose.

Oh I agree. But we are not to be deployed in a body guard capacity even by our department policy. The mere fact that we had 25 cops all around this guy all the way to the gate is absolutely ludicrous. That is overkill and a gross misuse of manpower.

OJ hasent needed that kind of police presence around him in 13 years since the murder. Just because hes booked on new charges doesnt make him anymore apt to be bothered IMHO.

Oh yea i think that hes screwed. But you never know. They could get a mostly black jury that is just partail to OJ. much like the crowd outside the courthouse that you mentioned.
