It does make you wonder where she has been all this time,
but great news indeed!! (it has been a major thumbs-up day)!!
absolutely. If they were to find laci Peterson alive (with baby) that would round out the day but unfortunately I think she's been dead for months and the husband did it. I had that one pegged the first day you don't go sturgeon fishing, alone, in a 14 foot aluminim boat the day before Xmas with your wife 8+ months pregnant. Not to mention in rough weather in the SF bay when you live 60 minutes closer to the Delta, than to Berkeley where he went fishing. My take, he killed her, drove to Berkeley, bought a launch ticket, disposed of the body, drove back using the ticket as his alibi.

Russ - Ricci was the handyman that worked for the Smart's, and apparently his name is now cleared although he died during the investigation.
I am not sure if this guy worked for the Smart's, but I believe his last name is Mitchell. Apparently they went to the mountains for a few months but have since been to San Diego, Atlanta and then back to Utah. The three of them, Mitchell, Elizabeth, and the woman with Mitchell were seen yesterday at a store trying to purchase some candy. When the clerk thought he recognized the girl, he asked for some id and all 3 of them ran out of the store.
This will be interesting...to find out if she was with them willingly or against her will. Initial signs seem to indicate that she was with them willingly...

This is good news indeed. For those of us with kids especially, I know I have nightmares of someone snatching one of my boys. Makes me sick this happens and this one worked out great for their family. Must be like Christmas for them.

Ah, Mitchell was the suspicious drifter that was seen hanging around the street where the Smart's live. Apparently he had worked for Mr. Smart VERY briefly.

After 9 months....That could be expected. Poor girl....I am glad she is alive being the father who has a young son and daughter.

Weird though.
Maybe, but they are saying on the news that both the girl and the father are so excited to see each other that they won't stop hugging and that they are both speechless and in tears.
It is a great story. I just wish I could start trusting that family now.
