I for one love Kirkland brand dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. They are about half the price of the top name brands of Cascade and Tide respectively and are just as good if not better. Consumer reports actually ranks Kirkland ahead of the top name brands. These of course are Costco products
I bought that thing you hang in your shower and is supposed to clean automatically and after 10 days it should be clean as a new shower..... well it sucks. I cleans a little but not like they advertise.
hotwire.com consistently saves me hundreds of dollars on traveling.
I have never been given a hotel that I was remotely disappointed in. The most recent example would be the Radisson Poca Diablo Resort in Sedona for $80 a night in the summer. Retail value on that room was $275 dollars.

The "Magic Eraser" cleaning sponge for naugahide-type car upholstery. It also works great on dashes and molded plastic car door parts. I used it on the jump seat of my 16 year old jeep...the seat had dirt, dust, rust stains, and rubber marks from a spare tire. The seat looks brand spanking new now.
The magic eraser is also the greatest for cleaning showers and tubs.

Yes!!! I just got one the other day to remove some black lines marked with a wax pencil on my floor tile when I was measuring and cutting. I tried orange cleaner, scrubbing bubbles, everything and none of it worked. A little wet magic eraser and it was gone. I am pretty sure the ingredients came from a crashed spaceship.

I am glad that you reminded me of this. This eraser, (well a few of them) was able to get Sharpie marker out of a white leather recliner. Amazing!
It also gets pen, pencil, crayon off of the wall without having to repaint it.
I am a huge fan of Gruelich's - specifically the one on 48th and Elliot and Tempe. They are honest.
Couple examples.
One day my car would not start so I called AAA mobile battery service. They came out and told me that it wasn't the battery, but the alternator and I needed to take my car into the shop. Had it towed in (free with AAA), and they told me that AAA misdiagnosed it and in fact it was just the battery. Only cost me $60-70 instead of the $300+ I was expecting.
Second, when my car needed its 90K mile service, they did the tune up, replaced the fluids and one hose and that's it. Did not try to sell me shocks or struts or look to soak me for money. In fact, they even told me when I picked my car up that it looks like it is in good shape and easily has another 30K miles on it so long as I keep the oil changed and don't anticipate any major service. I was shocked, normally auto places try to sell you everything under the sun.
