The 100 acre camouflaged possible Chemical Weapons plant???

I know they found a chemical facility about 100 miles outside of Baghdad that was being commanded and run by an Iraqi general and 30 soldiers.

They also said it was a highly unusual facility that was never known about by the Weapons inspectors and wasnt on the list of places to be inspected!

They said that it was highly camouflaged and couldnt be seen from the air as well.

Why havent we heard anything more about it?? Or is it just still to hostile in that area to get the necessary scientists in there to determine exactly what it was they were producing there?

Surprisingly we havent heard anything more about it that I know? What do you all think?

I heard about it, they said that they did not find concrete evidence that it was a chemical facility. It had been cleaned up or was a compound used for something else.

They were going to do more tests to see if there was any trace evidence.

Well, apparently Saddam was on television again tonight, and seated with him was the only woman in his regime--who is said to be an expert in GERM WARFARE.

One, does this prove that chemical weapons are part of the equation, and...

Two, is Saddam THAT big of an idiot that he would show a known expert in biological warfare when he had been pretty much winning the whole "I don't have WOMD" arguement?

Well, for one no one knows when that video was shot.

If it was within the last couple of days, certainly it gives credence to the Coalition's charges of WMD, but its circumstancial and doesnt prove anything unfortunately.

Given the role of women in Islamic culture, its extremely intriguing that a woman plays such a crucial role in his regime, especially one with her credentials in biological and germ warfare. And of course the world can play connect the dots and draw what is most likely a pretty obvious conclusion. But again, those conclusions wouldnt hold up in a court of law, and that sucks.

Im getting jittery. Not about the war, of which I have no doubt of the outcome, but of the possibility of us NOT finding any WMD.

We'll look like real chumps if we dont find the smoking gun.

It may takes everal months or years before we find any WOMD. Remember, it took the inspectors all of this time and they still haven't found any. I don't think Saddam will use them unless he foresees the end to be very near and actually fear for his life.

Some reports I have heard say that they have found a couple russian made missles and a launcher. They are not saying its outfitted for chem/bio weapons, but that they "possibly" could carry that type of payload.

It is common fact that people who are internationally known for being experts in Germwarfare, chemical and biological weapons have been seen with Saddam, have close contacts in Baghdad, etc. We will find them.

These things are hidden in Hospitals, schools, Mosque's and other hidden bunkers and such. He has them, we know he has them and eventually we will find them! End of story. It sux that people are going to die, but this regime needs to topple for the sake of not only the Iraqi people, but the rest of the world!!!

We're finding thousands of chemical suits and atropene syringes. There are reports of reconnaissance seeing Iraqi troops yesterday wearing chemical suits.

They can't be expecting a chemical attack from us so they must be gearing up to use things themselves.

Schutd, like you I'm getting jittery about not finding WOMD. However, I think I'm still as confident we'll find them. Besides, as soon as the first weapon is fired at us with it, we're even that much more justified.
