Tempur-pedic mattress

I am thinking of buying a Tempur-pedic mattress but I wanted to know if anyone has one, and if so, would you recommend it?

I looked at it but didn't buy it. Someone here told me they'd tried one out and found it to be extremely hot. That was one of the comments I found repeatedly online when I was researching it.

I guess the problem is you sink into the foam, it almost form fits around your body, and it gets quite hot. I've found something similar with my foam pillow.

But they are extremley comfortable to lie down on.

We just bought a brand new matress. They were selling the tempur-pedics at that store. They were way more expensive than the standard matresses. The owner of the store talked us out of it even though it was about triple the price of the one we ended up with. Ours was a Sealy Posturepedic and I love it. I tried the tempur-pedic and you slowly sink into it. That's kind of weird and neat. But the owner of the store said he had about 50% of the people come back after getting one to get a conventional mattress. He said of the fifty percent who kept them, they really liked it.

I still have a gut feeling Shaq will be better next season (2008/2009) after our docs have a full off season to work their magic on the Big Saguaro!

He probably gets a nice kickback.

You can get latex or visco foam beds for much less with the same type of support/comfort.

I did some searching and found this mattress, anyone hear of The Tri-Pedic Memory Foam Mattress? A lot less in cost than Tempur-pedic.

I have been told by some not to buy a foam mattress. I went to Sleep America and looked at the Kingston mattresses. They were very comfortable and they had a pillow top on top. I think I am not going to buy a foam mattress.
