It makes carbinated beverages taste really weird. I just tried to drink a Pepsi and I nearly threw-up it tasted so bad. I am taking it for migrane headaches but they use it as an anti seisure medication and to treat alcoholism. I guess it makes beer taste bad too. It's called Topamax.... anyone have any experience with this medication? Kinda freaks me out

i get migraines all the time - i've got one right now.

did they try any other meds before prescribing you that? i take Imitrex in a nasal spray - takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes for it to go away. terrible after taste, makes you gag, but it works like a charm.
