Is it really fair to go to Vegas the week before the poker game? That's like sneaking in an extra mini-camp. I'm calling the National Poker Players Association and filing a report.
Shane hooked up with us last night - 1:30-2:00 am in Mandalay Bay's bar - he was great!!!
Him & his cop partner walked in and came to our table and demanded to see our IDs. he said that someone in the casino claimed one of our guys assaulted him and that security followed us here then called the police. Shane said that they have the whole thing on the casino's video tape. Well, my brother wasn't really around us, so all the guys thought it was my brother who got into a scrum. shane grabbed all of the IDs and when our cop buddy, Steve, finallyasked to see the tape, Shane just started busting out laughing.
Oh man it was great! When Shane was there, all of the guys - Steve, Jeff, Jason, and the McGurty brothers - were all trying to play it coll and stuff, but after he left, man they all about died - they really thought something was going down.
Steve, the cop, unfortunately didn't start to pull the "Hey I'm a cop too bit" he just kinda played it low key.
Shane, sorry I was acting kinda like a dick when you first came up, I was kinda hoping you'd start reading me my rights or something and really freak these guys out.
They all thought it was a great prank!
We definitely owe you many beers this season, bro!!!
