These lil fellas are the ones I had at my old house.. They cool.. During the winter they hibernate or some crap, but when it starts getting warm they show up.. I had em outside my front door.. They liked to hang out near the front door light.. They would sometimes come inside when the front door was opened.. They would scoot across the carpet.. We never hurt them, just let them be cuz they are arfraid of humans and wont hurt you in your sleep.. They will eat any and every bug in site..

I lived on Dobson and Elliot for 2 years and was stung 4 times. We would take a black light and get really drunk and go scorpion hunting (which doesnt sound too much fun until you drink a 12er before it) Finally after caulking the house, cat, clearing yards, etc They still kept coming. When I called another pest company the guy told me that we lived in a "Scorpion Migration Path" and this area was huge for scorpions. Well the next week my dog got stung on the nose and I stepped on one within 2 days. That month I sold the house, moved back to Tempe and havent had a problem since.

Bought a pair of house geckos. They seem to be hanging out where we released them, on a plant shelf near the front door. Of course, no telling what they do at night.
Almost stepped on a bark scorpion last night - on the way to the bedroom - it was running across the carpet....

I found some geckos at my new house the other day.. dont have to go any get any now.. woo hoo..
geckos hang out by the porch lite at nite.. always have where ever ive lived and had them..

Rob and I bought a blacklight Sunday at Bass Pro Shop (lousy service, BTW)...
Sunday night, killed 13 scorpions (1 in the house)
Monday - 5
Tuesday - 3
Wednesday - 3
Thursday - 7
Friday - 5
Took last night off. Finally convinced the landlord to trim the palm, and remove the woodpile - that should happen this week.
