Scary pics from a storm in New South Wales

Apparently this boat wound up running aground, think it's called the Pasha Bulker?

Man I saw some waves like that hitting my 500ft Cruiser when I was in the Navy. Out to sea during a Typhoon is seriously one of the worst experiences a person can go thru. We didn't even open the mess decks for 3 days. All we did was roll around in our racks and try not to puke on eachother.

For the waves to be cresting that big of a ship like that they had to be huge.

After taking another look at those pictures, I'm thinking that they were taken after the ship had already ran aground. Check out the last picture in the series; it appears that the small structure on deck is knocked askew.

Either way...

Here is a live webcam if you want to watch a beached 735ft freighter. Its a little more fun than watching grass grow, but not quite as fun as watching paint dry.

lol. I find it amusing that "Toothbrush" doesn't like to go in the water. I suppose you don't like paste to be spread on your back either?
