Say, does your office need a vending machine?

Hope it is OK to post here, the 'For Sale' forum doesn't seem to get much traffic.

My enterprising gf had a never-used, full-size vending machine that she needs to either place somewhere or sell. It serves candy, chips and sodas (12oz cans), all in the same machine.

My question is, do any of you wonderful ASFN people work in an office or know of a place that this machine could call home? She has a second machine placed at a credit union and basically breaks even on it.

Any info or ideas you guys have is greatly appreciated!

True story - my neighbor makes over $500 K a year on vending machines (net!!!)

He has a bunch of them & puts them in low rent apartment complexes.

See that is awesome, it is all location. My gf has a business degree and has the spirit to do something like this. Unforunately so far, it has been more trouble than it is worth.

My neighbor struggled for a few years - he did all the filling & kept everything topped off.

Now he has 2 trucks & drivers - pays them a nice wage & nets the profits. He's late 40s & basically plays at home with his ATV & other toys all day long when he's not watching his grandkids that they adopted.

He says that in the low rent areas - people don't think twice about walking down to a machine & pumping a buck in for Skittles or a Pepsi - or laundry detergent or other stuff....they usually work around in the areas around the complex & don't get out much.

So simple, yet so brilliant

In the nicer areas, people get int their cards & work outside of their immediate area.
