Santa Barbara, Ca - City officials and local tourism leaders are in a panic, not knowing what to expect from Arizona resident Andrew Lane (aka andikrist) who has made it publicly clear that he will be in their city this weekend.
"We've heard some real horror stories from some people who have interacted with this individual at Cardinals games in Tempe, Arizona." said a police spokesperson, "He's got a reputation for being drunk in public and shouting some unpublishable comments toward someone known only as 'Billy Bowtie.' We have increased our local police patrols for the upcoming weekend and may enact a curfew if it becomes necessary."
A local historian put it best "We've had our share of hurricanes, floods, mudslides, earthquakes, and fires...but all of those natural disasters pale in comparison to this individual."
One local, who asked to remain unnamed, said "This weekend, when this andi character blows into town, could be the wildest and craziest event in California since the election of Arnold as governor. I just hope there is a Santa Barbara after this guy gets done with his visit..."

So, you'll be drinking right after the coin flip??
is KILLER! This past weekend they had the Harbor festival, Gay/Lesbian festival, and Italian Festival, and 2 Navy heavy missile cruisers were docked in the bay - lots of Sailors in their popeye outfits bumping around town - bet they loved seeing the "Navy Welcome" banner at the Gay fest!
I only saw the Cardinals opening drive for a TD - the network had switched from the Donkoes game because of technical problems.
It's a beautiful place - S.B. doesn't allow any new residential building in the city limits - you can only buy an existing house and remodel - the result being a medium size 4 br, 2 bath single story w/ smallish yard goes for $1,000,000.
The only way I could even visit is because I have a friend there.
The town is still standing, and on the pier i heard one jock kid remark "look! an actual Cardinals fan! hee hee hee!" I just looked at him and threw up my hands...
