This will be my last guys trip before my wedding, I was hoping I could get some recommendations for entertainment/dining/activities from you guys. I know Shane H lives in Vegas and a few others are more familiar with the town than I am. I will be flying in on the 27th and leaving the 30th.

What's your budget and how much trouble do you want to get into?

Well, I was thinking about $1500 spending money, but honestly, I don't want to limit myself if I am having fun. We are staying at Excalibur because some of my buddies didn't want to spend too much on the room, but we don't plan on spending all of our time there.
Hoping to find a nice place to eat and a nice "gentlemens' club".
Oh, and maybe some casino/sports book recommendations.

Well the Ecalibur is a dump, but it has beds, so it will work for you.
Gentlemens club: Spearmint Rhino or the Penthouse club (Scores)
Tons of places to eat, what type of food? High end? Some places I like are Delmonicos in the Venetian, Nine steakhouse, Chinois at Caesars, off the strip, the Tillerman is good,....lots of choices

Which club was it where Pac Man made it rain? That one would be interesting. My top three clubs would be: Club Paradise, Olympic Gardens and Spearmint Rhino. I used to like to go to Club Paradise because you could bounce back and forth to the Hard Rock, which was always a target rich environment. Of course, marriage and kids has put a major crimp in that kind of entertainment.
Funny you should mention The Tillerman. My wife and I ate there about 3 weeks ago and while the food was good, it wasn't as good as I remembered it, plus the average age of the diners there was around 70.
My favorite place to eat now is Red Square @ Mandalay Bay. I really like the food, and the atmosphere of old Soviet Russia is very cool. The vodka flows freely there and their cocktails are as good as anywhere on the strip. Delmonico's is a great suggestion, as is Nine. If you want to experience more of an Old Vegas feel, then the Steakhouse at Circus Circus is good (if you like aged beef, which is not to everyone's taste).
As far as Nightclubs go, my assistant (28 y.o. single female ) says her current top three are: Moon, Jet, & Pure.
I have been going there for 11 years straight for NCAA opening weekend (save one), and I am a downtown addict.
The hotels are not nice (except the Golden Nugget), but they have a cool light show and street vendors and live outdoor music on the weekends. And you can walk to about 7-8 different casinos in about 30 seconds in-between. See the cigar-smoking elderly degenerate gamblers bet on the ponies. It is definitely not an upscale club scene.
They do have good food. The 777 Microbrewery in Main St. Station is my favorite place to eat in Vegas. Best Oysters on the half-shell, sushi, good prime rib, and a steak-chunked chili topped with sour cream and cheese that is nuts. Very affordable as well.
If you want to gamble on sports - go to the California. They will give you a T-shirt with that years NCAA bracket on the back for free with a $20 4-team parlay. I have hit a couple of those and am up on them. If you want one of those frozen fu-fu drinks, go to le bayou. The chicks will "lei" you with a $0.15 bead contraptions.

Not half bad anymore - they're in the process of remodeling the rooms, I had a chance to look at one - nice and modern.
I've heard from friends (similar to JTS' assistant) - Pure, Studio 54, and Jet are great places.
Strip clubs, the good ones are covered above.
__________________ Impressions of Qwest Field:
1. Great facility.
2. Seems to have a problem with all the riff raf hanging about (Seahags fans).
3. Loud.
4. No more Tuba Man
5. If the Seahags D were as dedicated as the yellow shirt smoking nazi brigade on the ramps - the rest of the NFC West would be in real trouble.
6. Great location - other than being located in the People's Democratic Republic of Seattle.
Can't offer anymore than what has already been mentioned regarding the "Gentlemen's Clubs"... Spearment Rhino is tough to beat...
As for places to eat - Prime Steakhouse in Bellagio is amazing. As is Ni9e in The Palms! Tremendous service and incomparable meals... while the sights (particularly at Ni9e) are truly worth the admission!
The Palms also offers some great clubs...
As for a sportsbook - I believe Cesars still has the best, though the Vegas Hilton ain't bad either...

Pacman's place was called "Mynx". They immediatly changed their name after the drama, but I think it has since been closed down.
I agree on the tillerman. It is good food but it is "old" crowd.
I dont care for the Red Square, but many people I know, do. Personal taste I suppose.
