Paying for gas, then driving away without pumping it unappreciation post.

Yeah, I really have $12.00 to waste. I got halfway up Rt 95, before I realized I was still at a half a tank. Guess it was the over exitement of seeing $2.93 a gallon. Good job dumbazz!

LOL, sorry, Philly. Think of it this way ... you're paying it forward.

True that JG, but aren't you supposed to pay it forward with a smile on your face??

I have been on the receiving end of free gas before. I went to pay, and didn't realize that someone else had already paid. I thought it took my money, but when I looked, it stopped at $20 for some reason.

Eh, minor details.

On a similar note, I went to the QT (think Wawa minus the good sandwiches) on Saturday, paid with my debit card and asked for $20 back for poker night. Didn't realize that I didn't get the $20 til I was all the way up in North Scottsdale.

Thank goodness the lady was really cool when I called her and told her. They just gave me the $20 the next day.

This happens quite often, and most of the time a simple phone call or explanation to the manager will get you your money back.

What does listening to Dr. Dre have anything to do with pumping gas?

One time they put my cash on someone else's pump and this mexican guy filled his tank and sped off. The cashier didn't believe me and wouldn't refund the money or anything like that.... so now I only do card at the pumps. what is the world coming to when I can't trust a dude making $6.25 to give a damn and help me?

And of course, those were the same people that had those fuel tank caps that you had to unlock with a key! &%@&^$#&*!

I didn't stay long at that job!
