There was this famous British TV reporter sitting a few rows in front of me from London to Newcastle today...
Everyone was all about talking to him and taking photos with him. He tried to act like he did not like it but when people left him and his wife alone he started talking to EVERYONE...
I just wanted to go to the bathroom but couldn't get by this guys line to get photos with him...
I hate famous people that are all into themselves...

I think the British get more caught up in 'celebrity' than any other people.
I once had to wait an hour as they delayed the flight for Steve Urkel... The really funny part was that he came running up to the boarding gate with two body guards (escorts) and ran in covering his face... I do not remember what airline it was but he was in first class and you boarded at the front of the plane... you have to walk through first class to get to coach...
They had made us all wait in the boarding area and as I walked by he had wads of paper and garbage all around him as the other passengers threw stuff, including nasty comments as they walked by...

Chandler Mike and CQ have fan clubs. Djaughe has groupies following him around all the time.
Both SweetD and myself like to stay incognito.
jkf296 is kind of a jerk about it and won't sign autographs for kids and uses his fame to bypass wait lines at clubs, and get the best table at the restaraunt. He has been known to pull the "Do you know who I am?" card.
Chris_Sanders is cordial, but he still demands appearance fees for grand openings of new Dry Cleaners or whatnot.
