View Poll Results: Do super heroes have an underlying homosexual tone to them?
First off, Pariah, this isnt meant to offend you..
I have always wondered even as a kid, how males can follow super heroes. (well the ones in tights anyways).. I just never was attracted to reading about or watching or anything with a dudes junk all probing out.. Ive always felt it was slightly off for my tastes..
So my question is.. Do super heroes have an underlying homosexual tone to them?

Only you can ask yourself why a "dudes junk" keeps getting your attention and not the story.
Generally comic super heroes separates some folks into two camps. One will simply look at it as a bunch of drawings versus those that appreciate its value as as an "illustrated story."
That question of yours has been a continuous topic since a psychiatrist wrote a book back in the 1950's alleging that that the "sexual" projection in super hero comics (i.e. batman/robin "gay", Wonder Woman "lesbian") would encourage children to do bad things.
In fact - that book brought a congressional investigation to look into censorship and established a "comics code authority" that generally sanitized stories and graphic illustrations. When I say "sanitized" - I'm talking about things the puff of smoke coming out of a gun being determined to be too violent, mention drugs, etc.
The comic super hero might actually be one (top 10) of the best examples of "free speech" - in which it has survived government/citizen attempts of censorship to pave the way for today's media (i.e. music videos, arcade games, movies, etc.).

Word!
And furthermore...if you look at things as being "gay" then my guess is that you are gay...gay in a bad way...as a matter of fact Gee!, you should change your name to Gay!

I thought that was what Jon was gonna become (after being SameOlGay for awhile). Wasn't there a name change skuttlebutt on that?
Ok, mental image there was disturbing. It isn't poking out, it is probing out. Looking around, feeling out for some human contact. Gives new meaning to it having "a mind of its own." Creepy!
