Supposedly it was 25 degrees out where I live, last night. I don't believe that. Dog water didn't freeze, neither did plants.
I refuse to drape blankets over my plants like some sort of cheap freak. If they get frost damage, oh well, cut it off, it'll grow next spring. If it dies...what does an Oleander cost $15??
Treating plants like babies should get you thrown in jail.

I covered my ficuses because I hate seeing a foot off the top frozen every year, and have to grow that foot back over the next year. I want them to grow as fast as possible.

My bougainvillea got frost bite like an Everest expedition gone bad. I just wish those things would die anyway, I hate them and their stickers. Who's idea was it to bring those to this country anyway?
