NYC 4 Leaf Tourney: Champs!

Jersey Shore Sharks took the cup this weekend.

4 games of rugby in one afternoon. My body is completely shredded, but we won the whole thing.

I post this because I wanted to put this picture up of one of my rugby buddies who lost some chicklets.

You think he cared at the time ?

Now that is a rugby smile.

Yes sir.

If you click on the team picture, I am 8th from the left on the top row.

I play tight head prop. The guy in the picture is named Ali, and he is the lock that plays behind me. That is 540 lbs (38.47 stone) of scrumming power.

Is the dude with the busted grill also the guy on the far right of the team photo who is about a foot taller and a foot wider than everyone else?

Yes.

The guy is a mountain of a man. He hardly fits inside my house.

Congrats, Rugby!

I wish I had known that there was a rigby team in Jersey before I moved. I love watching those guys get rough. Awesome, fun sport.
