NEZ Parcells

OK...so the community I live in just started up some Flag Football Leagues. Of course I signed my son up, and they needed coaches so I agreed to coach his team as long as a few of those kids had MILFS!!

Last night was the first practice. Oh boy, now I know how Dennis Green feels. Lots and lots of athleticism, but absolutely no football knowledge by these kids. They didn't even know what a snap was besides my son.

I was kind of upset...then realized I was coaching 1st and 2nd graders and not the NFL.

I think my kids are the Arizona Cardinals.....lots of speed...but they over run everything. All you have to do is stop...and they run right by the flags.

Oh well. There is this one girl on my team....I think she is JJ Arrington. Lots and lots of straight away speed....but horrible acceleration and no lateral movement.

How do I deploy this girl?? She is my secret weapon.

We are learning to stay still in the set position. This may take a while.....I think my base plays are going to be Sweep left and right. Defense will be go rip the flag off that guy.

This is going on my resume that I submitted to Mr. Bidwill.

Use that girl in end-arounds. She'll be able to get a head of steam up from sideline to sideline and hopefully be able to turn the corner.

Well have to get that hand off down. I'd try a toss but she is afraid of the ball.

She's a lot like Forrest Gump.

There is no way that you do a toss at that age. Unfortunately you cannot do anything but have the QB/RB literally hold out their arm and let them see the ball. End arounds work very well because most kids at this age play like the Cardinals and overpursue.

You can't even do it (toss) with the 4th graders that I coach.

If she could catch and the fat kid could throw....we could run some sick wheel routes.

Ha ha. D-Dogg and I are coaching 5 and 6 yo soccer. I dont know squat about soccer, but at that age, my coaching job is fundamentals and making sure they have fun.

i wouldn't mind coaching some youth basketball - just hard to find the time or connections (as I have no kids)

I have friends out there - I actually had to turn around once at happy valley road as it took 50 minutes to go from the loop to that point and there was no end in sight

i hate the 10, but fear the 17
