I took up to Spanish 4 in High School and thought I was the shizz so I took it in college. They wouldn't let you speak english in there! I could never grasp the past tense and rode that to my first of many C's

I took spanish in HS.. freshman year.. The teacher came in talking spanisgh the first day and neve rtalked english.. Needless to say I had no idea what the heck was going on and failed.. But all my mexican friends got A+'s..

Thats was wack.. I always thought I should have been taught it, but appearntly this white teacher chick felt she was so much better cuz she knew spanish, no translation was needed cuz she knew it.. what a B!

I've never understood that mentality to teaching a foreign language. My German teacher was awesome, because she took the time to TEACH the language.

I took that class in high school as well. We didn't have film study at all though. I'm pretty envious of that.

That's not a very exciting schedule right there. I should've taken some honors classes though. Oh well, I'll enjoy the easy 5 A's I'll get.

I call BS on your school for that one. It's not community "service" if it's required.

It is required if you want the state's full ride tuition scholarship.

That makes sense now. I thought it was a requirement for the class to be able to graduate.

We had to do stupid crap like invest fake dollars in the stock market, come up with a company that already existed and tweak it, etc.

I wish I would have taken something else, Like keyboarding. (eventhough I could already type about 50wpm at the time)

That's just lame. Sitting through an entire semester of Health would drive me bonkers.

That community service requirement must be new to TUHSD since I graduated. Stuff like that really annoys me.

It was required to pass health which is required to pass high school. If we didn't do it we'd get an incomplete in the class. It was only 10 hours of community service anyway.

Well Hue, criminals are required to do it and that's still what it's called...

In Entrepreneurship we are going to start our own made-up business and it has one of the coolest teachers in the school. I did that investing stuff in a class my freshman year...I liked it. :-/

I didn't have to take it either. I graduated in '97 and we didn't have that prerequisite.

How's film study? Are you actually critique modern films?
