My little bro is getting married today

I am the best man. I beat out all rivals for the job. We had the rehersal last night and his fiancee was talking to someone and called me old. I'm not old. I may be about 10 years older then her but 32 isn't old (Nasser, if you say anything I will hunt you down and kill you)

Oh well, doesn't matter. I get to make a toast and haven't decided on what I am going to say. Got some ideas but nothing final.

Talking about the groom's past girlfriend(s) during the toast is never is a funny as some might think.

And, Mulli is dead-on... It never works well to hammer the groom on his past girlfriends...

I've been a best man twice. Once was for my brother. The last time I was a best man was about 11 years ago. I look back on the experience now and am very, very glad I kept my speech respectul and supportive. Oh, I found some areas to joke about in each case. But past girlfriend exploits was kept off limits...

No worries. I was also best man for my older brother and just winged his toast. I got multiple compliments after on how great a speach it was.

He has been dating his fiancee for, I am guessing, over 5 years. I know they were dating when I got married five years ago. I will work that in somehow. She is really great. They are going to be happy.

My daughter is also in the wedding and I haven't seen her this excited in along time. It is going to be a good day.
