Mars Rover Stopped Sending Signals
I saw a headline on my way into work today that Spirit is currently incommunicado. Bummer.
I watched a Nova on PBS about the planning and execution it took to get these things up there and the thing that struck me most was the landing site. The crater that Spirit is in very clearly once held water. You can see the huge canyons and riverbeds spoking out of it on some of the high res photos.
