Interesting.. I have never heard of kidney stones linked to those things.

I didn't say they caused it... they can help reduce the acid (I can't remember what it's called) that causes the formation of the stones.

My mom has been in the hospital before (10+ years ago) because of kidney stones. She has made a concerted effort to drink more water (taking frozen water bottle to work) and hasn't had any problems since. So, drink more water!

I'm sorry you are having trouble.

Don't watch season 2 of Deadwood.

My wife found out that she had kidney stones a few years ago when I took her to the hospital on dec 30th. We spent our first new years as a married couple in the ER.

Yeah, three more ... went to the ER in pain about a month ago. They are just waiting for them to pass. But they are taking forever and causing a lot of discomfort.

Good thing for pain killers.

I got salivary gland stones once, so I can imagine how much kidney stones must suck. I feel your pain.

Everytime you eat you feel an atrocious pain under the floor of your mouth and the gland doubles its size. Really fun. Fortunately, it didn't last too long.
