I guess its from the guys behind kazaa and skype, and it brings tv to the internet. They just signed some deal with viacom to provide content. It uses p2p technologies to provide realtime hd shows over the internet.

is it totally dependant on what others are sharing, or can you do specific channels? i'm assuming it isn't live, but how far from live is it?

I'm quite sure my production level would drop to about zero. I think I need to stay away from INternet TV.
