Well I know I bought my wifes Engagement ring there. SUPER SUPER customer oriented. They waited on me like nothing I have ever seen in a jewelry store. They treat us like kings when we take the ring back for inspection every 6 months. (could be because of what I spent but I doubt it)
Annoying commercial? YES! But IMHO a superb Jewelry store with VERY good product.

I'll only get diamonds from the Shane Co. One experience there and I wish I had never been in another jewelery store in my entire life. Great service, no pushy people, VERY knowledgeable and great stones.

Never heard of them but they sound like a great company. I mean they have to be with a name like that
If you have ever been in a Jared they really do have some great product. I love the rock I bought my wife. Even though they are superb to us however I make sure I look at the ring under the microscope to make sure the laser enscribed serial # is on teh diamond everytime. I trust nobody.

If I'm ever lucky enough to get engaged again, I hope to go to Shane Co. I like the fact that they're not on commission, and his short-lived "He's dull, but he's brilliant" commercials cracked me up.

If you lived here, there is no way that you couldn't hear of the Shane Co. Their commercials (mostly radio) are arguably worse.
I won't ever go to Jared...(sorry Shane). My ex went in there & managed to get $5k in credit, despite having 2 foreclosures & a repo on his credit (amongst other things) as well has having NO JOB. He was actually irritated with them. He had a small amount of cash to spend, and they just kept pushing him to at least "try" to get some credit. He finally agreed, just to get them off his back, despite telling them repeatedly that he was unemployed. They came back & said he qualified. Insane. All that proved to me is that they are complete idiots, and I won't shop there.
