I don't think so. If she was born with both, and just had the male parts removed, then she would have had ovaries & uterus, etc. I have heard that it is often difficult, because sometimes not all the parts work right (for lack of a better description, and I'm not even sure how accurate that is).

IIRC from that Discovery show, a lot of the time it's a very small penis, with either ovaries or uterus (but not both). That prolly explains why she had to adopt.

Yes, "allegedly." But it's a larger percentage of the population than people realize. It's just kept very private. Heck, there was one village in the Dominican Republic where more than a third of them are hermaphrodites - maybe it's something genetic?

I think genetics play a huge role in this. My Dad's friend has two sons and both of them were born with two penises. The sad thing is he had one surgically removed from each of them, forever dening them a guaranteed job in porn.
