SKkorpians are a sign of good luck. If you kill it you will bring seven years of bad luck upon us. Oh my gosh! Have you killed them before? No wonder we struggle.

Usually I keep them in a glass vase and feed them crickets.

No scorpions in Jersey!
Anywhere from an inch to two inches.
They can be in rare cases to some people. Generally as an adult it will just hurt like hell. If stung you should call poison control. They'll tell you how you should feel, anything else you should go to the emergency room.
Something along the lines of increasing pain for about six hours, then it should die down.

I used to live at Saratoga Apartments in Mesa, near University and Dobson, when they were putting the 101 in and extending the 202. You would not believe how many scorpions that rousted from the ground. We used to take a blacklight out on the balconies and walkways and point out all the scorpions. The occassional scorpion would sneak indoors on it's own but we captured plenty of them and kept them in terrariums, feeding them crickets. We even had a pair that had a ton of babies...that's scary. The smaller they are the more dangerous they are because they do not hold back their "poison."

to get them all the time. I did have one about a week and a half ago. incher. I spray hairspray on them then catch them in a cup and get rid of them. But it does seem out of season.
I live @ Higley / Southern in Mesa. We live on a cul-de-sac. Every summer we probably get a dozen or so. This past summer we went to the end of our cul-de-sac where there is a grassy area with trees right along the canal that separates us from Seizure World. The grass area is about 50 feet from my house.
Got myself a nice can of cheap hair spray and a torcher lighter.
Went out twice a week for about a month - we fried - no kidding here - about 40 scorps each night.
I'm hoping that there won't be as many this year as a result.
Hopefully I won't be there anyways - people accepted our offer on a new house @ Gilbert / Elliott - so we just have to sell ours now! Probably won't say anything about the scoprions!

Really????
Oh boy...there goes the neighborhood....I don't think the wives will like it only being two miles away now.
I'll dust the cobwebs off the PS2 & put some cold ones in the fridge.

Scorpions are sneaky little bastards...
My folks live in the foothills of Ahwatukee, a very nice area, but a lot of scorpions.....I think if I'm not mistaken, that Section 11 lives in Ahwatukee too.
My parents live right at South Mountain, so they get a lot of scorpions.
