Is Beer considered a "Pain Killer"

We shall see. Also to be answered tonight: How well do Beer, percoset and an angry, self-righteous wife mix?

Time will tell.

Several rock stars have died drinking and mixing pain killers. So have movie stars, etc. Are you a celebrity?

I still have a gut feeling Shaq will be better next season (2008/2009) after our docs have a full off season to work their magic on the Big Saguaro!

Yeah, but I don't have a small, twin engine plane, or an ice storm. So I am safe.

If I start dying I'll let you all know, you can perform cyber cpr!

First question answered: Beer is not a pain killer.

Advice: Never allow a Surgeon to cut your diaphram. It is extremely painfull and causes many problems.

Also. Having chest tubes yanked out is not fun. It might be the craziest thing that can happen to you. Especially since they do it to you, on you hospital bed with no local pain medicine. "Take a deep breathe, now breathe out and hold it." Yank. Two tubes pulled out from a foot inside of you. It takes like 1.5 seconds.

Ok. Carry on.

Hey KOC, I didn't know you REALLY needed a pain killer. Tequilla worked wonders for my last surgury. I never even touched the pain meds. My wife was pissed. But my logic was, if I was off work, I'm drinking! You can get numb on Tequilla, and you don't have to piss as much!

Smiley face is good.

I am out of the woods. Everything from here on out is precautionary, not life threatening stuff, more of a pain in the ass than anything.

I could go take any test they have right now, and they would find no cancer in my body.

Soon I will be back to work and this will be a thing of the past.

Beer may not be a pain killer but I dilocated my shoulder when I drinking a lot of beer and I do not remember it happening . I do not remember the pain so I guess it did kill the pain.

The more beer I drink the more I agree with you.

I am only drinking bud light and only taking over the counter pain meds right now.

They were giving me demoral and I had an epidural in my spine and I was still in pain. I can't imagine what they did to me when I was knocked out. I have a 1 foot scar that goes from my back to my front around my shoulder blade. They must have peeled my skin and muscle away to get to my lungs and then sowed it back.

Plus then cut out the bottom of my lung, a piece of my diaphram and the chest tubes being forced in and yanked out.

I would let someone dislocate my shoulder and put it back 10 times and it wouldn't compare.

I've dislocated my shoulder before and put it back myself. Anyway.

Glad to hear your surgery was a success!!!

And, as long as the pain is in your ass, you shouldn't have to worry too much about your diaphram...or so I've heard!
