What the heck is this bug? Is was crawling on my kitchen screen.. Never seen it before.. Got close for the pics to be indentified..

I actually don't think that's it's a mantis. It's thorax is way too wide.

Here is a pic we took where I work of a female mantis that just bit her husbands head off. He is still attached to her as well.
