Go to an allergist ASAP and get tested to see exactly WHAT you're allergic to! I used to have HORRIBLE allergies, but got tested almost 3 years ago now. I started on weekly allergy shots, I take Allegra daily (365 days a year!) and I have Flonase for days when the air is bad and my allergies act up. It's a lot of annoyance doing all that, BUT, I no longer have the bad allergy attacks like I used to!
Getting on an allergy med that is stronger than Claritin would be a good start! With the recent rains, I'm going to be switching to a different med, because Allegra won't even be strong enough now! Probably Zyrtec I'm thinking.
Anyhow, yes, it's going to be a BAD allergy season this Spring! So get to an allergist quick so you can take the best kind of meds for YOUR allergies!
I have a really good allergist.

I see Dr. Chu. Nice man, listens to his patients, knows his business!

The only thing I am allergic to is penicillin. Even then, I'm not sure I'm allergic to it. I was given it once and broke out in hives, so the docs said "He's probably allergic...we could try and find out, by giving him more, but...it might kill him." So, to err on the side of safety, they just declared me allergic to it.

Go to the health food store and get some allergy relief tablets. Dissolve them under your tongue. It's the only thing that works for me.
I used to get shots, then I tried a product by herbalife called Shizandra Plus. After a couple months, no more shots for me & now I rarely have allergy attacks. That was 6-7 years ago. All natural is the way to go for me.
However, don't get me around cats or horses without OTC meds...I'll be covered in hives with my eyes swollen shut. Ain't purdy.
