If you were wanted by the law...

And being chased in Arizona, could you go to the Four Corners where Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and AZ all meet and just jump from state to state? Maybe Shane can answer this but Im being serious. If you jumped from AZ to NM can an AZ cop walk 2 steps over the state line and arrest you?

Is this one of those 'hot pursuit' issues?

What would happen if you just called the police and said you'd be there, say, around noonish?

Can't cops call in and ask for permission to leave their jurisdiction?? Or can't they call and get help from the other states??

Haven't committed crimes across state lines in awhile. The only thing I do know is you better hope they don't call the FBI on this one.

Good luck Al!!

Well I just know that They have to call the other states police ..At least I think. The question is though could he step over that state line to get you? Does 4 Corners actually count as an "official" state line? I could just see a cop from NM, CO, AZ and NV all just standing there waiting ...LOL

Great point NEZ. If you cross state lines I think it now is a Federal Offense and the FBI would be called and they can hop after you from state to state up at 4 Corners. God that would be a funny sight to see.

This guy would be arrested by all 4 police agencies. Then they would have to play paper, scissors, rock to see where they would take him.

His butt and legs would be raped in Jail in AZ while he would perform oral in a Colorado Prison.
