I need to commit murder

I have these two beams that stick out ever so slightly from either side of the second story from my house. We'll these damn birds have taken a liking to it and they perch up there all day and night. Problem is, they crap all over my driveway and house. Their crap is like friggen cement, I could lay bricks with the stuff

I climbed up there last weekend and put these spikes up there that they guy at home depot told me about. The beam looks like some medevil torchure chamber up there. So I walk out there this morning and the birds are now sitting ONTOP of the spikes....the smug little bastards were like laughing at me in bird language or something. So I pointed at them and told them that ther were going to get it now.

So, is there any other way to get rid of these birds without killing them? If not, how should I do it? I was going to go down to Wal-Mart white trash style and buy a BB gun and some Old Milwaukee, sit in my yard and shoot at them all day. I have tried spraying them with a hose but they just come right back.

Help!

I heard of people sticking one of those plastic owls up there to scare them away. With your luck they would end up pearched on top of your plastic owl.

Go with the pellet gun idea.

My girlfriend's grandmother has done the owl thing.

It didn't work.

My dad tried the rubber snake trick.

It didn't work...

I got it! Capture a real owl and chain him to the beam.

Now you say. Owls crap too and will not correct the problem? Wrong, if you don't feed the owl it won't crap. Problem solved. Next.

As politically incorrect as it is, the BB gun thing will work and work for a long, long time... Growing up I had a friend that was a little nutty, loved shooting all birds from a canvas covered area in his back yard... he did this for a few months and there was not a bird for blocks and blocks...

His family moved out of the neighborhood and it literally took about a year before we saw a bird within blocks of that house...

The friend... Well he grew up, never left home, killed his mother by cutting her to pieces, stuffed her in a drain pipe behind their new house, stole her car and credit cards and was arrested in Las Vegas gambling away... I have not heard from or about him since...

I have gotten rid of three pigeons in my lifetime. The first two I shot with a BB gun. The last one I knocked out of the tree and into the mouth of my german shepherd.

Your best bet is the BB gun, although it might be worthwhile to other them "peace offering" of poison corn.

I heard he moved to Arizona and is currently having a bird infestation on a beam that sticks out of his house.

He is considering the bb gun thing again. Man people really do go full circle.
