I met Mike Henry (Family Guy) tonight...
You know the guy who does Cleveland, Bruce, Mayor Bee, Herbert, Greased Up Deaf Guy?
He was on my campus to present behind the scenes of Family Guy and the Cleveland Show, he was quite entertaining and his story about how he got to be on the show was actually interesting. You know when stuff drags out? This seemed to at the end, but it was because of a select few people or “fanatics”….
I asked him what he thought about the cult following and he loves it (right, he wouldn’t say anything bad about that lol) and wanted to ask a 2nd but it was answered before I got to ask it.
There were people there with children and I mean loud and obnoxious, he even joked saying they were monkey children, but seriously they ruined a big portion of the event for so many people, running around and stuff…
Anyways, I got his autograph and a picture….
I told him I was a bit too cynical for my age and he just laughed. I said only a few things make me laugh, kinda center me in a way from the cynical side and the show does that.
He told me he used to be a Dead Head when he saw my appearance, I even joked saying I looked like a hippie. He even asked what type of music I liked and I couldn’t answer because the guy taking the picture asked me a question right then and there was a line so I just took the picture (rude?).
There were a few odd balls in the audience, kind of take the show to literal and he answered ALL their questions but there were a lot and everyone knew he was BSing.
Anyways, here is his signature and picture (I couldn’t comb my beard and its long so it needs to be lol)
*I know he isn’t a “celebrity” but Family Guy is huge to me and it was just cool he came to my school and it was totally free.*

Cool story.
All the Family Guy people seem really cool. If you havent heard Seth McFarlane on the Adam Carolla Podcast, be sure to hit up iTunes.

How did it feel changing your name from Cat Stevens to Yusef Islam?

Don't tease Andrew. I was just as excited when I met Murdock and Amy from the A-Team at Tri-City Mall. I know many of you would do a lot of unmentionable things to meet your favorite childhood TV stars....

Since I doubt Andrew is familiar with any musical act that is not "The Backstreet Boys", here's a link for Andrew to read about Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_Stevens

My post was a "knocked up" reference. For anyone who didn't know.

Every one of you are just jealous because I have rich flowing hair on my head and face and you struggle to grow any.

Andrew...I love ya, but I seriously doubt anyone on this board is jealous of your hair. Just a guess.
