So, every month I pay the balance due at the cash only machines. Well, I've been doing this since last July, without fail.
NOW, come to find out today at work, our ****ing electric has been shut off because "we're 90 days past due". Bullshit we are.. Well, now I have to pull a rabbit out of my ass in order to get electric in our house because THEY messed up.
The fun gets even funner.

I've been getting the bill every month and going over to Bashas and paying it. Reciept wise, I've kept most of them, but I don't know if Amber threw them out or what.
This same thing happened with my Southwest gas bill, it was paying on someone else's account via the online bill pay. They had my account number wrong some where in the system. They fixed it pretty quick but we had to take a cold shower for a few days. They credited my account back and I didn't have to pay that bill for like 4 months

This is true and I would ask for comps when its cleared up. From what I have heard SRP is better with the customer service than APS.

Southwest messed up our transfer when we moved in and turned us off too. We even made the arrangements two weeks early to avoid a problem. The girl said they would have a guy come the next day and the wife was UPSET. So I called backed and asked "Would you like to meet up with a rabid pitbull that had to take a cold shower tomorrow or a calm, loving wife and mother right now? Either way you're dealing with her". He was there in 30 minutes.
I've been having a utility billing issue as well. I use online bill pay through Bank of America. It turns out they sent the gas check to the wrong address and it was returned to sender (their fault).
Deregulation hasn't actually happened in AZ, after observing the problems that took place in CA in the late 90s, the corporation commision or some level of government decided against moving forward with it here.
