My Fellow ASFN posters,
As you may or may not have noticed I have stopped posting here for a while, and I feel I owe many of you who have become my friends an explanation.
I have recently found myself at the crossroads of a difficult decision and it wasn't until after many days of meditation that I made my decision. I have begun my Jedi Training. I have enlisted in the Jedi Academy I found on an internet fan site and although my long hard journey has not yet started, I must take the steps necessary to become a Jedi in mind and spirit. You see, a Jedi knows not of possessions or love, therefore I have given up posting on this board and eating Krispy Kreme Donuts. I often look to Obi-Wan for guidance and think, "Would he be posting on an internet messageboard and eating donuts?" My answer was no, he would be training with his light saber or out kicking major Sand People ass.
Last Friday I went to Home Depot and bought the first parts of what will ultimately become my trusty side arm, my lightsaber. You see a light saber is not as clumsy or as random as a blaster, but an elegant weapon for a more civilized age. When the cashier was ringing me up I waved my hand and said, "These are not the droids you are looking for." She had no idea what I was talking about, proving how powerful I am even now with the force.
So please do not give me another thought, before long I will be ending trade disputes between Republic colonies or fighting against death stick smugglers in the galaxy.
...and if you see Roberta at the Krispy Kreme on Priest, tell her the donut loving BIM she once knew is just out stroking his Wookie
