I had mine done yesterday and I am 28. They said because I am older it would be more of a recovery. I am alittle more than 24 hours after and I have the rest of the week off and it feel like a mini vacation. Just curious how others were and how the revoery was. Side note, I woke up during it while they were sawing my impacted tooth, I did not feel anyting, but it was still really wierd.

19 and it was a disaster. My paternal grandpa had his out at like 80. He had something like 3 roots or something on each tooth, different from most people, since he was part Native American. I had the normal white man number.

I was 21 and got them removed in Japan before I went to Iraq. They removed all four at once! They didn't even put me under and I only got one day of light duty before I was back trainning. It was horrible. I thought they had a special tool for it, but they don't. He just stuck a mini crow-bar under the tooth and started torquing. Got to love the free dental in the Marines.

I was about 25. It was no problem at all. Went home and had ice cream for dinner. The next day I was fine, but I couldn’t stop messing with the holes in my mouth.
