I love them and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them
Damn Shane, I hate to hear things like that. I'm such a family kind of guy so I doubt I could ever take that kind of stance. I hope things one day work out for you guys. Life is too short to carry resentment around. Of course I have no idea what actually prompted you guys to fall out so, I'll just shut my mouth.
My brother is studying to become a male nurse and my sister works at McGrath's, that fish place on Stapley.
They are both in their 20's and still live at home. I just don't have much in common with them at this point. I'm sure we'll be much closer when they leave the nest
I only had one brother (whom I didn't see all that frequently but we got along ok). He died suddenly last year - so now, of course, I regret not keeping closer in touch with him.

Yeah, I got some Cardinal Kool-Aid but I didn't add the sugar!
I love my sisters and I am willing to go out of my way to help them and be there for them, but I am sure there is a limit to that. I just haven't reached it yet.
I have 2 older step-brothers. One has been living in Japan for the past couple years, and the other one I only see if it's a marriage/christmas/or life threatening heart surgery.
So, I like them alright, but whatever.

I.D. badges are long overdue. Security in this office park is a joke. Last year, I came to work with my spud gun in a duffel bag. I sat at my desk all day, with a rifle that shoots potatoes at 60 pounds per square inch. Can you imagine if I was deranged? - Dwight K. Schrute
I love my brothers--in the end, all you have left is family. I try so hard to instill that in my daughters. I have cousins that barely speak to each other (sisters--basically grew up hating each other), and it makes me so sad--I didn't want that to happen to my girls.
I figured you meant reasonable limits. If Harley were to go Ted Kazinski on me, I'd turn him in. But in normal life--no, there's nothing I wouldn't do for either of them.

That sucks, DeAnna. I'm sorry.

I hope you never reach that limit. I think that is where I am now and it sucks.
