Here we are now, entertain us

so the inlaws are in town and since they've visited quite a few times i'm running out of things to do to keep them occupied

in the past they've gone up south mountain, walked through resorts, hit the shops in scottsdale, gone a variety of easy hikes, hit all my favorite restaurants, drove around the superstitions and a bunch of other things I can't recall

this year on the dockett I have westgate, cave creek, mill ave, the white tanks and a whole bunch of nothing

any suggestions on things that can be done, without breaking the bank, in any part of the valley?

moderate excercise is OK - but can't be too taxing

many thanks

haven't done tombstone with them - may be a bit much of a drive though

world wildlife zoo could work and it's close to where I live

sedona is a great idea, unfortunately when they were out here this summer we spent a weekend in prescott and hit jerome, sedona, flag and a lot of that area

petrified forest is cool - they saw that driving back to MN and have also driven through the salt river canyon (which is pretty sweet)

would like to keep the driving to around the 60 - 90 minute mark from the westside

appreciate the help - may have to look into stadium tours on the westgate portion

Osprey, there's an Olive Orchard and Mill in Queen Creek. I haven't been there yet but I plan on taking the family next week for a tour... Sounds interesting and a solid way to kill some time...

maybe plan it for their next visit - looks like tombstone is fairly close, could book a night down in that area and scope that part of the state

I was there as a kid.. They gave away rocks.. Wasnt a long list to get in then, so I dont know if you get rocks now..

More suggestions:

Rawhide
Or just casual like Turf Paradise

I took every AZ history class I could all thru college.. So I can look up more obscure places if ya want MO..
