Question:

I sometimes want to believe that people are "taken over" by demons and that exorcism works

HOWEVER

If it was true why the hell do we do an exorcism right away? Isnt this a sure fire way to learn about life after death/ heavan and hell? Time the victim up and talk to it. From most stories they speak latin or whatever.

It does say in the bible that demons and those from hell will intentionally mislead . So, in essence questioning a possessed person would be a waste of time.

A possessed person does bring up the conundrum of faith. If you believe in satan and hell, you would believe the person was possessed. If you didn't, you would probably explain it by it being just a mental illness. Thus a possessed person really wouldn't "prove" there was life after death/heaven and hell.

You would do the possession to help rid the person of the demons. If you believe, you would actually be ridding demons. If you didn't, an exorcism would still help the person, you would reason, in that they believe they are possessed and believ this is the cure.

So I got through the 14 pop-ups and listened to some creepy stuff. Then I was gonna post how creepy it was and how I got all creeped out.

I guess I had a car once that was possessed becuase I was told it was repossessed and that is why they took it away.
