Hercules Hooks

I fell victim to the infomercial brainwash and bought these things. Please for the love of all that is good in this world..... DO NOT buy them. They work great for the small pictures in your world, but they do not even come close to being able to hold the 150 LBS they claim.

I bought them specifically to hang some items that were giving me fits with the drywall. Tried molly anchors, plasic anchors but they wouldn't keep the items flush against the wall. So I tried the hercules hooks, which are just bent metal.

To make a long story short, anything over about 10 lbs will bring the hook right back out of the hole. Complete waste of $20.00

That really is a convincing infomercial! Michael and I almost bought them, but I managed to change the channel before he could get to the phone (he's a sucker for infomercials). I'm glad to actually know someone that has tried them, so now when it comes on my TV again, I can use your experience to keep him from buying them! Thanks Ryan!!!
